What Do Guests Say About The Hawthorne Historic Inn?

We stayed for 5 weeks while waiting for our apartment to be ready. The place was just as shown in the photos and was very comfortable; it felt like home. Stephen and the on-site contact, Greg, were both very kind and responsive. We only had one issue with a sink and they had it fixed right away. The building is an old inn that was built in the late 1800’s, and it has a cool, old school vibe that you don’t get in modern hotels. The upstairs decks and the front porch are great locations to watch the world go by. The place is in the flight path for the San Diego airport so you do get some overflight noise, but they’re on approach most times so it’s not too bad. The onsite laundry was handy and there are lots of fun shops and restaurants to walk to on Banker’s Hill. Balboa Park is also very close by, and the waterfront is a short walk away also. We had a great time and would stay again.
